The Ministry of Health once again adds another milestone to the century of continuously striving to be a highly reputable organization geared towards giving each citizen and resident of Brunei Darussalam a high quality of life by improving their health and well being.
Hence, the first Brunei Health Expo, a celebration of life dated on the 15th to the 18th of November, 2007 at the International Convention Centre.
The event is the realization of the thrust of the government through the leadership of His Majesty, the Sultan to provide World Class Health Care to its citizens and the rest of its South East Asian Neighbours. Seminars and exhibition featuring the finest in the medical field will be invited to present cutting edge technological advancements.
The project is designed to enrich Brunei Darussalam’s medical industry with studies conducted by the best in the health profession. With it comes an array of service oriented facilities and institutions whose life saving technologies and techniques have been gathered from all over to answer the need of each and every individual of Brunei Darussalam.
Here’s to a hundred years of caring, a hundred years by the Ministry of Health! |

The Mission of the Brunei Health Expo is to facilitate in the education and instill awareness on preventive measures and improvement of one’s well being by:
- information dissemination of the milestones for the past 100 years and giving a glimpse on medical improvements;
- exercising and enforcing laws that prevent and strengthen one’s well being;
- providing a comprehensive look on the primary health services adherence to the Ministry of Health’s Mission and Vision; and
- promoting public participation on activities that generate awareness on all levels of concern about health.

The International Convention Centre, shortly known as the ICC, is the largest meeting venue in Brunei Darussalam. It has made the country capable of hosting high profiled events and to name the few - ASEAN Ministers Meetings (AMM), Asia-Pacific Economic Conference (APEC 2000) and ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF 2001).
It has the state-of-the-art-technology making it an excellent venue for big events. The halls and meeting rooms are provided with various kind of facilities meeting the demands for conferences and exhibitions.
The complex nestled on a 20 hectare land area which is less than 5 minutes drive from Brunei International Airport, a few minutes walk to the Bolkiah National Stadium and five minutes drive from Bandar Seri Begawan's commercial center.
